Mercedes is releasing a trio of strollers with the help of Germany’s Hartan. Adopting the automaker’s naming strategy, they are named AVANTGARDE, PERFORMANCE, and AMG GT.
The interiors of the first two prams are upholstered with certified organic cotton and the ergonomic seats are designed for stability and maneuverability. With an aluminum chassis, your baby should be able to feel the freedom of the road without unnecessary weight.
The AMG GT model is finished in alpine grey, in honor of the legendary “Silver Arrow” race cars of Mercedes’ past. As befits a “race pram”, it also comes with a sophisticated five-point harness system with a magnetic buckle, while a height-adjustable handle, a handbrake, and reflectors are helpful for the parents. It also gets cross-spoke AMG design wheels, a high-quality AMG seat cover, and is also available in AMG-design black with red handle stitching, in case you’re a bigger fan of Mercedes’ more recent accomplishments.
Unlike some race cars, though, this isn’t a hard-handling track cart thanks to Hartan’s suspension system, as well as its large, lockable swivel wheels. It is also the smallest of the trio when folded at 69 x 58.5 x 31 cm (27x23x12-inches), including the reversible seat unit, to allow for easy storage in smaller, sporty vehicles.
For those looking for a bit more choice, the AVANTGARDE option is available in five finely coordinated colors. They include “Magmagrey,” a lighter “Steel” grey, a creamy “Opalith,” a classic brown “Tartufo,” and “Denimblue.” The strollers feature a color-matched chassis with the Mercedes-Benz pattern, a magnetic harness, and a double fold-out sun visor.
Finally, the PERFORMANCE model debuts a brand new stroller from Hartan. It features a unique, modern look with innovative new features. The handle can be pushed aside to give a baby attention, while the seat can be reversed and reclined for their comfort. It also features a shopping basket with an organizer bag, and unlike the other two, is upholstered in Vegan Leatherette.
All models also feature a Bag2Go, which is ideal for smartphones, keys, wallets, bottles, and more and can be attached to the stroller’s handle. Accessories designed to match these strollers will also be available, including a folding carrycot for very small children, nappy-changing bags and backpacks, as well as windbreaks and footmuffs.
The AVANTGARDE and AMG GT models are now available in Europe, while the PERFORMANCE model is expected to arrive in spring 2022.
